By the 20 April 2021 (TUESDAY), we produced an A4 sketched journal around 8 to 10 pages mostly related to the physical and non physical context of the street with a merely 300 words of summary at the last page of the journal.

REFLECTION

Along this assignment , i am amazed to see there are various aspects affecting the authenticity of a traditional streets. I am also able to read the architecture languages from different state of time. Both physical and non physical contet is the most important aspect that i obtained when doing my case study throughout the whole assignment. It also reminds me why preserving a traditional street is so relatively important as it is the authenticity which gives user the experience and memory. I would like to study more about the context of another streets.

OUTCOME:

REFLECTION

Reaching 25 May 2021, an A3 size infographic is produced and submitted in TIMES platform.

After this assignment , i found myself to feel more curious about the topic Traditional Chinese Architecture and wanted to study more about it . Through the ability to compose and organize the information neatly, it helps to improve my memory toward this topic .The reason I choose this topic is also because i came across with a lot of Chinese architecture buildings in most of the dramas in TV so I wanted to study more to further understand it. It is a fun process when solving your own curiosity on your own.

REFLECTION

Lastly after this project , i have raised my awareness on the losing of heritage value of a street due to rapid development not just Petaling Street. People nowadays are looking for something new and tend to forget the originality of the given place. It is definitely crucial to conserve traditional street so that its value can be passed down for the sake of young generations. I would also like to thank my groupmate for all the hard work we did together to complete this project. It is tough and the accomplishment of this project is just so satisfying for all of us.
